PLAN INFORMATION OVERVIEW
– Short-Term Disability (STD) pays for up to 24 weeks
– Long-Term Disability (LTD) pays for up to 2 or 5 years
– Life Insurance with AD&D for Member, Spouse, and/or Dependent(s)
Guaranteed Approved Coverage: No medical questions or tests for actively working Members.
Are your current benefits enough?
Short-Term Disability
Through the LINECO plan, some Members may receive $600/week (less taxes) for 26 weeks. This will still leave a large income gap/deficit since it’s significantly less than what a Local 51 Member brings home on a 40 hour work week.
Long-Term Disability
There are ZERO benefits through the local. Without enrolling in these new coverages being offered, 100% of your paycheck is at risk!
Life Insurance
Your current Death Benefit Fund (less taxes) may pay enough to cover burial expenses (if you are participating).
